Questions about switching from Harvest

Can I import my Harvest data?

Not yet. The easiest way to switch is at the start of a billing period: export your old time and invoices from Harvest for your records, set up your clients and projects in Clockbill, and track new work there.

How do I send an invoice to a client?

Open the invoice from a report and save it as a PDF from your browser's print dialog, then email it or upload it wherever your client expects it. Clockbill doesn't email invoices or collect payments for you.

Can I mark some time as non-billable?

Yes. Any entry can be billable or not. Non-billable time still shows up in your reports and timesheet, but doesn't count toward the amount you invoice.

Does it work on my phone?

Yes. Clockbill runs in any modern browser and can be installed to your home screen. Start a timer on your laptop and stop it from your phone; changes sync live.

Is Clockbill really free?

Yes. Every feature, including invoices, is available without paying or entering a credit card. There are no ads, your data is never sold, and you can export or delete it at any time.
