Can I track a monthly retainer?

Yes, on Pro. Set the billable hours a client pays for each calendar month. Clockbill shows how much is used and warns you at 80% and 100%.

Can I bill clients in different currencies?

Yes. Each project has its own currency, and reports show billable totals per currency, so nothing is converted or mixed.

Can I send the invoice from Clockbill?

Yes, on Pro. Clockbill emails your client a secure link to the invoice, now or at a time you choose, and shows you when it was opened. On the free plan, you save the invoice as a PDF and send it yourself.

Can the invoice match the one I already use?

Yes, on Pro. Upload a PDF or a picture of your current invoice, and Clockbill copies its layout, labels and bank details. Your tracked hours fill it in from then on.

Is it really free?

Yes. Tracking, reports, timesheets and invoices are free, with no trial and no credit card. An optional Pro plan adds retainers, budgets, custom invoice layouts and emailing. There are no ads, and your data is never sold.
