Questions from designers

I charge per project, not per hour. Is this still useful?

Yes. Tracking time on fixed-price work shows how many hours each project really took. Divide the fee by those hours to see what you actually earned per hour, and quote the next one with confidence.

Can I show the client how the time was spent?

Yes. Add a description to entries; invoices can list each entry with its description, and CSV exports include them too.
